Some frequently asked questions for today’s Zook Construction home buyers:

How long does it take to build a new home from the time we decide to purchase?
It takes approximately 120 days from the time a contract is signed to completion, depending on the time of year.

Do I need to get a construction loan?
No. Buying new construction is no different than buying an existing home. Your lending institution will verify your income and appraise the value of the home you wish to purchase. With an existing home, they go to the property for appraisal. When the home is new construction, they verify your income and do the appraisal from the plans and specifications provided by the builder.

What selection will I make on the home?
Home buyers will select the colors for the exterior siding, roof, as well as the trim color for the door and shutters. The home buyer will also select light fixtures and floor coverings basked on the allowances in the specification book.  The interior paint color is one shade throughout the home. 

Does Zook Construction provide a warranty?
